With his exquisite creations and his skill as a master goldsmith, Enrico Damiani began a legacy of art, beauty, and exclusivity. The perfection of each of his pieces soon turned placed him as the go-to jeweler of the noble families of the time.
With craftsmanship, creativity, and elegance, he created the Charleston necklace -in honor of Queen Margarita and inspired by the legendary dancer, singer, and icon of beauty and sensuality, Joséphine Baker- a piece that would continue to be a continuous source of inspiration in the history of the Maison and the beginning of a legend.
In 1934 Damiano Damiani was born, whose visionary image to lead the company was responsible for initiating a process that would enhance the industrial and commercial expansion to promote design research and technical innovation. We could assure you that thanks to Damiano, Damiani jewelry has international prestige. Damiani pioneered the revolutionary idea of guaranteeing value to customers and creating catalogs of all collections.
At the beginning of the 90s, the third generation was part of the company; At the end of this decade, as a family business, Damiani became an increasingly international business reality and, in 2007, it consolidated itself as one of the most prestigious Made In Italy companies, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
The Damiani brothers have managed to maintain the very high quality of the design and craftsmanship of their jewels forged in the Valenza factory, and they continue to buy diamonds, precious stones, and pearls from the children of their father’s suppliers. Damiani is the only company worldwide to have received 18 Diamonds International Awards, the world’s Oscars for jewelry.
